If you search the Internet for typical French, the following appears in the first place: Baguette. Cheese. Red wine. Basque cap. Of course these things belong to France like the flies at the butt of the Camargue horses. I can’t imagine a trip to our neighbouring country without the crispy white bread and the harsh Camembert. This list, however, does not begin to benefit France and must be supplemented by a number of essential points.

Picturesque villages and beautiful natural landscapes. Roman aqueducts and medieval castles under construction. Rivers, lakes and canals. Mountains and gorges. Castles and oyster farmers. These are just a few appetizers awaiting you in our western neighbour.
